Happy Halloween!

Halloween is one of our favorite holidays in second grade! It is so great to get all dressed up in our costumes and have tons of fun! This teacher loves seeing everyone out of their regular uniforms to become soldiers, kitty cats, Tinker Bell and the likes of many more cute and awesome characters! :)

We started our day with an awesome acting chapel where we learned that God can give us the power to conquer our fears! After chapel, each class came up on stage so the whole school could see all the great costumes of each class! We then paraded through the halls of middle school and ended up back at our class to PARTY! :)

We had tons of fun racing in the "Pumkin Roll!" Five kids at a time raced against each other to see who could roll their pumpkin with their broom the fastest!

It was a close race but this little "jailbird" won the grand finale competition! :)

Then it was time to design our own caramel apples. We had every topping you could think of which made for some pretty artistic and creative looking apples! :) YUMMO! We also enjoyed our fresh apple cider that we made the day before at the apple ranch and ate many other goodies our hosts and hostesses brought in for our party.

We finished our fun morning by watching Charlie Brown's "Great Pumpkin"! Everyone was excited to head out to the Harvest Festival later that afternoon. :) It was another perfect day in second grade full of fun, laughs and lots of memories made! :)
