We sure do love our precious grandparents and are so thankful when they can come visit us at school! We had a wonderful afternoon visiting with our grandparents and making a special craft with them in our classroom. Thank you to all of the amazing grandparents who love, care and support us! You are such a sweet blessing to us all.

Spirit Week! Hippie Day!!
We love Spirit Week when we can dress out of our uniforms and have tons of fun! Tuesday was Hippie Day and boy did we have a lot of good lookin hippies in our class sharing lots of love and peace!! :)

Spelling City!!
We are having so much fun playing spelling games on Spellingcity.com in class. Now you can play at home! I've added the link here on our blog under "cool sites to visit". Each week our spelling words will be added to the website for you to practice. At Spelling City you can play games, practice your weekly words and test yourself to prepare for each week's test. Just search for Mrs. Kilmurray and you will find our class and spelling lists! :)

Hannah at the Olympics!
Our third grade friend, Hannah, is at the Olympics and reporting for the LA Times. We have been following her adventures in class by reading her weekly blogs and seeing all her cool pictures. She has been able to hold the Olympic torch before opening ceremonies, she has met many athletes and has been to a hockey game. :) Sounds like fun, huh? Check out more of Hannah's blogs below.

"We Have Never Seen Anything Like This!"

Fantastic Friday!!!
On Friday, our class presented a play about Jesus as the Great Physician as part of our school wide Fantastic Friday series. I am so proud of all my precious second graders who put on such a great show last Friday. In fact, they put on eight amazing shows for our whole school including Pre-school! J They did such a wonderful job and were awesome in presenting their play through out the day. Their portrayal of Jesus as the Great Physician was precious and so sweet. They really brought to life the story of Jesus and his miraculous healings! Here are some highlights from our day:
The paralyzed man visits Jesus.
Jesus heals the arthritic woman!
"Praise God! Hallelujah! We have never seen anything like this!"
"I just need to touch his clothes, then I will be healed!"
The man with leprosy is healed by Jesus!
